Mamelodi Sundowns set to send non-regulars on loan

Siya’s side have been informed that Mamelodi Sundowns are in talks to secure a few of their players on loan as playing time will be hard to come by for them in the upcoming season.

It looks like the DStv Premiership champions are considering loaning young prospects Siphesihle Mkhize and Musawenkosi Mdluli. Mkhize and Mdluli were on loan at Chippa United and Jomo Cosmos respectively. The Chilli Boys are believed to be interested in having the players again in the upcoming season and details will be finalized soon.

Malebogo Modise, who was at JDR Stars last season, is another player who would be loaned out. He did well last season for the Stars, but with the likes of Lyle Lakay and Aubrey Modiba operating on the left side for Sundowns, it looks like he’s more likely to play regular football elsewhere.

Sundowns are set to make a decision on Sifiso Ngobeni, who was loaned out to SuperSport United for half of last season. Ngobeni could return to rivals Tshwane from the Downs next campaign.

Midfielder Ofentse Mashiane, who made his Sundowns first-team debut last season, could be sent off for the season, due to stiff competition in his department. The signing of Sipho Mbule means Mashiane’s chances of playing are lower, so it’s understood he could have a chance to get some regular playing time elsewhere.

Take a look at how Sundowns could line up in the new season:
