In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Jubeir hailed the partnership between the two countries, especially regarding energy and food security, the fight against climate change and global supply issues.

He also praised the US-Saudi partnership on freedom of navigation and issues of mutual concern, including the Kingdom’s security and stability, Iran policy, support for Iraq, crisis management. in Syria and Lebanon, the search for a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. , addressing the challenges in the Horn of Africa, and the situation in Libya and the countries of the Sahel.

The ties between the two countries also include collaboration on Afghanistan, Jubeir said, adding, “They are working with Afghanistan to ensure that it does not become a safe haven for terrorists and that it progresses and become a normal country in which normal men and women women can lead a normal life.”

“They are working together to improve and advance connectivity via 5G and 6G as well as the exploration of outer space,” Jubeir said.

The minister highlighted the vast investments and exchanges between the Kingdom and the United States, noting the hundreds of thousands of Saudi students in the United States, adding that more than 80,000 American citizens reside in the Kingdom.

Jubeir explained that the Kingdom has a vital role in ensuring security and stability in the region and the world, as it is a G20 member state and the world’s largest oil exporter.

Saudi Arabia is one of the largest investors in the world, and its geographical location connects Asia, Europe and Africa and plays its role as the largest economy in the Middle East and Africa and the one of the 20 largest economies in the world.

He pointed out that hosting numerous conferences affirms Saudi Arabia’s influential position, noting that it hosted three summits in three days when former President Donald Trump visited the Kingdom.

He also hosted former President Obama at a Saudi-US-Gulf summit and a Gulf-US summit, and several countries were invited to participate.

The Kingdom continuously organizes Islamic and Arab summits, reflecting its role and the respect it receives in the Gulf, the Arab world and the Islamic world.
